Summary 2010 so far - The year of recovery - 3 bedroom, 3 bath luxury condominiums near Steamboat Skiing are becoming harder to find. Torian Creekside at around $750,000 and Trappeur's - Aspen and Bear Lodge condos under $800,000 are worth the look.  Open floor plans, good views, nicely appointed finishes, attractive rental properties and mountain location is popular.

Its difficult to know where the bottom is - but reducing inventories is a good sign.  The continuing success of new base area developments closing transactions intitiated 2 years ago in a very hot market is showing that not all purchases were intended for flips like many other parts of the country.  Many of the condo buyers today have cash.  Its about lifestyle and making the decision to take some time in life and smell the roses.
