Single family homes in the immediate Steamboat Springs area, (with-in 15 minutes drive) has declined to under 5 homes. Sales for foreclosure condos, townhomes and residential homes has maintained a steady pace resulting in less choices for distressed property. Of 30 or so REO (Real Estate Owned = post foreclosure) homes, most are in Stagecoach, Oak Creek or Hayden areas.
